HISTORY
1958
Our founder, José Luis Benito Méndez, extended BENITO SYSTEMS trajectory, starting with a little workshop to make wooden windows and other exterior enclosure solutions, based in Navia (Asturias, Spain), and in his fifty years of productive life he has seen his installations grow in a spectacular way. He has seen his prestige consolidate and is now a leader among the companies of the sector, diversifying his work with new lines of products and increasing his production to 40,000 window units per year.
1989
A giant leap was made by investing in the latest imported technological machinery.
1993
An enormous process of modernisation was undertaken, incorporating mixed wood to our catalogue of products.
1995
The aluminium division, FAYCOBE, was created to manufacture windows and other exterior enclosure solutions, thus extending our industrial premises to 1,500 m2.
1999
We are awarded the ISO-9001 quality certificate.
The computing systems are updated and a modernisation of the production management programmes is undertaken.
2002
A new phase of expansion is underway and the construction of 8,300 m2 new industrial premises is taken place in the industrial park Villaoril.
2003
The opening of the first shop for direct sales is opened in Gijon. In 2005 following this success another shop is opened in Oviedo.
2007
The installations were enlarged to 16,000 m2 to introduce, via up-to-the-minute technology, the latest production system in its generation.
Including a production line of laminate wood.
The FSC certificate is awarded as a guarantee of our compromise with the environment.
OUR TEAM
Our services work towards satisfying the demand in three different ways: the final client, the supplier and the actual market.
200 specialised professionals are in charge of obtaining day by day, the global satisfaction of the markets in which we are present, depositing their experience to this idea – inherent in our philosophy.
We own 16,000 m2 industrial installations that take in two numeric control production lines, a laboratory to test the water and air tightness, as also the resistance of the material. We also have technical offices that can count on constant support from the R+D+I and IT departments and furthermore with tailor made programmes, in order to calculate the quartering and assembly of all the units.
Finally, the quality department watches over all of the phases of the process – the productive and management ones – making sure that we fulfil at all times the quality standard demands that our clients and ourselves mark as a goal.
SPECIALIZATION
Our activity is centred on the manufacturing of windows and different solutions for exterior enclosure.
Even though we were originally orientated towards manufacturing wood windows at the beginning, we now manufacture two different lines of products. On the hand the Ebania series, made exclusively with wood and adequate for building, renovation and housing projects, where the quality of the material outstands together with its security benefits, insulation and functionality. On the other hand the Blinder series, windows made of mixed wood with an exterior coat of aluminium, that make this set a perfect solution to obtain interior warmth and elegance and unyielding exterior protection.
